Honoring Residents’ Rights Month

Residents’ Rights Month is an annual event every October that was designated by Consumer Voice with the purpose of honoring residents living in long-term care facilities. This year’s theme is “It’s All About Me: My Life, My Care, My Choices,” which promotes the focus and rights of all long-term care residents.

There are a number of events and activities that have been created to assist the support and participation of Residents’ Rights Month, including book clubs, Resident Idol, rallies, puzzles and other fun activities. View the full calendar »

This October, celebrate and recognize the importance of residents’ rights by offering educational sessions and discussions on the topic and participating in community-building activities with and for residents, staff and family members. The National Nursing Home Quality Improvement Campaign offers resources to support your efforts.

Pathway Health is proud to honor such an important and worthy initiative. For more information on ways to celebrate Residents’ Rights Month or opportunities to strengthen your efforts in the LTPAC community, contact us.
