Description

This half-day training is essential for all staff involved with Restorative Nursing programs. Through our hands-on approach to restorative care, participants will gain an understanding of what Restorative Nursing is and how to put a program into operation for your individual facility.

Participants will learn the basics of Restorative Nursing rules and regulations, types of programming, and MDS coding and reimbursement.  C.N.A.’s will walk away with the tools and confidence to actively participate in your Restorative program.

• Describe the principles of Restorative Nursing  
• Understand regulatory requirements that mandate Restorative Nursing
• Understand the important role of the C.N.A. in Restorative Nursing
• Understand the Restorative Nursing documentation “tools”
