PDPM Revealed with LeadingAge Oklahoma
Pathway Health’s Karolee Alexander presents her talks, “Prepare for PDPM Now: An Interactive Workshop for Leaders” and “PDPM Prepare and Prevail: An Interactive workshop for MDS Staff and Clinical Leaders,” where participants will learn about preparation for the new PDPM for Medicare payments, becoming effective October 1.
Objectives:
- Describe the CMS intent for changing the Medicare Part A SNF payment model
- Identify the six components of the PDPM system
- Compare the PDPM classification system to RUGS IV classification system

Leaders will review the components of the new PDPM model and identify the source documentation needed for payment calculation and review facility clinical systems and staff roles affected by these changes.
