Sad News: Passing of Debby Schuna

With Sorrow We Announce The Passing Of Deborah L. Schuna, Founder and CEO Pathway Health

Dear Colleagues –

I share with an immeasurable amount pain and sorrow, that Debby L. Schuna, my mother and the founder of our company, died yesterday morning while traveling for Pathway business. She died peacefully during her sleep.

As you know, Debby has led our organization from its inception, and has mentored not only Pathway Health, but all of the Pathway Family of Companies. We have worked closely together to strengthen the foundation of our company for our family, our trusted employees, clients and partners.

We are in the process of finalizing arrangements, and will keep you informed as more information is available.

Debby has been the cornerstone of our family, showing us how to deal with all sorts of adversity, moving forward honoring those that have left us, while living in the moment with those that are still with us.

Her Legacy as CEO and Founder of Pathway Health

As a founder of Pathway Health, Debby shared responsibility for the overall management, development and direction of Pathway Health. As Chief Executive Officer, her primary responsibilities included Pathway Health’s strategic growth, management of operational vice presidents and new program development. Debby brought over three decades of health care operations and development experience to Pathway Health. As one of the organization’s founders, she has played a key role in its creation and growth. Debby was responsible for establishing Pathway Health’s reputation for excellence in clinical consultation, strong market position and innovative clinical program development. Her operational expertise was in regulatory turnaround, management and compliance.
